An Early Childhood Education Program for Little Learners
3-YEAR-OLD HEAD-START EARLY ACADEMIC INTERVENTION
It is very important to engage and stimulate young minds, especially in the first five years of life. Our age 3 Head-Start program includes play-based learning that also introduces learners to an “academic structure” that includes phonics, sight words, and handwriting. We focus on the five areas of child development, according to the Georgia Early Learning & Development Standards (GELDS) in preparation for Pre-Kindergarten.
The three main goals of this program are to:
1) Provide early academic intervention.
2) Improve socialization skills.
3) Enhance/develop fine motor skills.
